1980s - Saudis secretly funded Saddam's development and construction of Dr. A.Q. Khans atomic bomb.
Saddam mismanaged the money, spent 10s of billions trying to develop the bomb and coupled with Iraq's mismanaged economy and huge post Iran-Iraq war debt, began to bankrupt Iraq.
1990 - consequently, Saddam invaded Kuwait to acquire their oil reserves and bolster Iraqs economy.
The Saudis threatened to reduce oil supplies and allow oil prices to skyrocket if fellow oil man George W. Bush didn't boot Saddam out of Kuwait.
Fearing Saddam and his irrationality, the Saudis transferred the development of the atomic bomb to Pakistan through Dr. A. Q. Khan now, widely renowned as the “Father” of Pakistan’s atomic bomb.
Saudi Arabia couldn't finance the entire project without raising international suspicion so Dr. A.Q. Khan sold his plans and materials for his bomb to North Korea and Libya. These transactions provided the remaining funding for Pakistan's development of their atomic bomb.
1999 - Bill Clinton began the investigation of Dr. A. Q. Khan.
2000 – Bush, the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency stopped the investigations and instructed all other agencies to "back off" any investigations of Saudi Arabia.
2004 - The U.S. and Britain agreed to end their trade embargo on Libya in return for Gaddafi’s shutting down his atomic bomb program. He was also awarded an exclusive oil drilling agreement with British Petroleum.
2006 – Pakistan and Saudi Arabia agreed to vastly broaden their military and security ties.
Pakistani troops are being sent to Saudi Arabia and are accepted because they are all Sunni Muslims and not Christian crusaders from the West (the very reason Osma bin Laden orchestrated 9-11).
2007 – The U.S. agreed to gradually end the trade embargo on North Korea if they would stop production of the atomic bomb technology and parts they bought from Pakistan.
SUMMARY
Here's the math: Pakistan+Saudi Arabia = disaster for the U.S.
The United States economy and success has been based on oil dependency for so long that we have no choice but to accede to the wishes of Saudi Arabia. If the U.S. leadership doesn’t end our subservience to Saudi Arabia very soon, you can just call us:
