Bush's close friend and chief political strategist has joined the ranks of many others who are in desperate need of salvaging their reputations and careers by distancing themselves from the worst President in the history of the United States.

The reason for his departure will of course be the "immediate needs" of his family and his much needed "presence at home." One wonders what dire family emergency requires Mr. Rove's presence at home instead of staying with this nations worst embarassment - George W. Bush, for a mere 16 more months.

The fact that he was about to be called to witness by the Democrats for his political and Constitutional transgressions were highly instrumental regarding his "departure." The Democrats informed the White House that if Rove continued on, they would prosecute him to the letter of the law and they had the evidence to prove it in court.

The greatest tragedy of Rove's retreat is that now, Dick Cheney will be Bush's only remaining "brain and THAT is by definition, a grave and serious threat to our national security and deserves no less than the standard 'Red Alert' rating given to us by Homeland Security.
