"Terrorism: the unlawful use of force or violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives" - U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation definition
Isn't this exactly what George Bush did in the aftermath of the attacks of 9/11 by violating the UN Charter - Article 2(4) and Article 51 that prohibits one nation from attacking another except in self-defense or with the authority of the U.N.?
The Bush invasion of Iraq was to change its existing leadership (which in itself, was a political objective) and access Iraqs huge oil reserves under the pretenses of the existence of WMDs (which the United States originally supplied) and the illusion that Saddam Hussein (an ex-ally of the U.S.) had direct links with Al Qaeda.
Therefore, by definition, George W. Bush is a "terrorist." This is not an opinion. It is a valid and legal definition. This would be like Usama bin Laden (yet another ex-ally of the U.S.) saying, "Oops, I didn't mean to cause the Twin Towers to collapse, it was just "bad intelligence."
Bush has caused the death of many, many more civilians than Usama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein combined and continues to kill as many people as he can before he leaves office and lets the Democrats inherit his genocide. THIS is the legacy of George W. Bush.
To blame Islam for terrorism is the same as blaming Christianity for the killing of 10s of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan civilians.
