Bush vows to veto kids’ health insurance bill
WASHINGTON - President Bush again called Democrats "irresponsible" on Saturday for pushing an expansion he opposes to a children's health insurance program.
"Democrats in Congress have decided to pass a bill they know will be vetoed," Bush said of the measure that draws significant bipartisan support, repeating in his weekly radio address an accusation he made earlier in the week. "Members of Congress are risking health coverage for poor children purely to make a political point."
Calling Democrats irreesonsible for increasing children's health coverage is the language of "Bushspeak" - when a statement is so dumb, nobody questions it because it is so nonsensical that they might seem as stupid as the president.
It's the "King has no clothes thing again".........same story, 150th verse.
WAKE UP AMERICA
George W. Bush is the only person dumb enough to think that the great majority of Americans don't want to help poor children stay healthy.
The real reason he doesn't want to spend money on those unable to fend for themselves is because all that money is going towards fighting the Bush War.
We don't have money for AMERICANS anymore and the Democrats are going to inherit this greatest part of the Bush legacy.
