What about Israel?

It's common knowledge that Israel has over 100 nukes and has never confirmed their existence.
Why isn't the U.S. insisting that Israel show "transparency?
Why hasn't Israel joined the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
along with all the other "nuclear" countries?
