More children than ever before in America are going to sleep at night without a home to call their own.
Rising child poverty rates could be a 'taste' of what's ahead
One out of every 45 children – some 1.6 million – in the United States is homeless, according to a report released Tuesday by the National Center on Family Homelessness.
The majority of the children are under age 7.
