THANK YOU TIME MAGAZINE

I would like to thank Time magazine for honoring me, Rob, No BS Press (http://nobspress.blogspot.com/) and all the other people who speak out against ignorance, hypocrisy and intolerance and aren't afraid to ask questions and research "facts" excreted by our entertainment news media, filled with linguistic distortions (doublespeak) and their private, subjective interpretations of simple and basic, first hand "news."

Some relevant quotes come to mind to illustrate that which pervades our society and engenders unquestioning obeisance:

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth."
"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."
"Faith is not wanting to know what is true."
"Faith is believing what you know ain't so."
"The way to see faith is to shut the eye of reason."
"There are no facts, only interpretations."

I would have cited the authors of these very wise messages (Google them if you wish), but our tendency to attack the messenger and dismiss the message, precludes our curiosity to seek truth.
